The Area

The area of the Ardennes in which we are staying is in Southern Belgium, halfway between Bruxelles and Luxembourg.  The small village of Mont-Godinne where we stay, is situated 10 km North of the historical town of Dinant, and about 15km south of Namur.  Check www.ardennes.com for more info!  The building which we stay in is owned by the Catholic Scouts of Belgium, located 2 km from the River Meuse.  It's about a 14 hour trip by Minibus and ferry, and has everything that we need : toilets, showers, drying rooms, camping facilities, rooms for briefings and bunkrooms for the leaders to attempt to get some rest in!  The centre only deals with one group at a time - so it's ideal for us with all our equipment.
